this day. To me Popping is more then just a dance, it is a lifestyle. If you are willing
to learn and be open it can teach you how to focus your mind and your
movements.
This August I’m rallying the troops and the boogie nation team is putting together a
week of free classes.The styles that will be offered are not your normal studio fair.
We will also host Boogie Nation and other popping events within this week. As the
time gets near we will post a schedule of events so you know what’s going down,
when, and where. This week will be more than just classes and events. Our hope is
to bring Poppers from all over the world together so that we share our dancing with
those outside our community. To much of the time peoples exposure to hip hop
culture is through negative stories in the press and stereotypes in movies. It’s time
for poppers to unite and share our dance with others in a positive way. Lets show
some folks all the hard work and discipline it takes to pop. The only way we can do
this is word of mouth so tell your friends and make sure they pass the info on. Get
as many people out as you can so you can share what you love and bring a higher
understanding to those around you. To me popping is a dance that has endless
possibilities and more people will love this dance as well if they truly understand it.
